Leading tyre brand Bridgestone has joined hands with largest passenger car maker Maruti Suzuki for the supply of Bridgestone ECOPIA EP150 tyres for its all-new Maruti Dzire sedan. Recently, in April 2017, Tokyo-based tyre maker got associated with Tata Motors to provide B250 tyre as OE fitment for their Tata Tigor ‘StyleBack’ sedan. Japanese tyre major’s eco-friendly range of ECOPIA tyres was launched in the year 2015, and since then have been garnering positive feedback from the customers. Another reason for the smash-hit success of ECOPIA tyres in India has been its availability in various sizes ranging from 13-inch to 18-inch rim diameters.

ECOPIA EP150 tyres are made out of special compounds and possess revolutionary technology in tread design, ensuring an ideal balance between durability, fuel efficiency and safety. Specially engineered for the cost conscious and environment conscious driver, Bridgestone EP150 comes with low rolling resistance, which cuts down the generation of harmful carbon dioxide emissions.

Besides superior braking performance, ECOPIA EP150 tyres also offer quieter and comfortable ride, better handling in dry/wet conditions and enhanced wear resistance. The new tread design of the new age passenger car tyre consists of rib-linked blocks which assist in uniform ground contact together with exceptional braking in any weather condition. Moreover, the optimised 3D block shape groove pattern betters water dispersal and allows smooth rolling of tyres in water logged areas.

World’s largest tyre company, Bridgestone Corporation is the parent company of Bridgestone India Pvt. Ltd. The tyre major started its India operations in the year 1996 and established its first manufacturing unit in Kheda, Madhya Pradesh in 1998, while the second facility in Chakan, Pune was set up in 2013. In a short span of two decades, the Japanese tyre company has emerged as one of the leading tyre companies in the aftermarket and Original Equipment (OE) market. Other than ECOPIA EP150, some of the hot-selling passenger car tyres include Bridgestone Potenza RE88, Bridgestone Turanza ER300, Bridgestone Turanza GR 90, Bridgestone B390, Bridgestone S322, Bridgestone B250, Bridgestone S248, Bridgestone ECOPIA EP850 etc.
