JK Tyre, one of the most prominent tyre manufacturers in India, recently made the announcement that CarEdge has awarded them the title of “Best-in-Class” for their products. The company earned a score of 75 out of a possible 100 on the ESG scale, which gives it the designation of “Very Good” in the category. This award is presented to the brand in acknowledgement of the exceptional environmental, social, and governance principles it upholds.
The ESG performance of JK Tyre is driven by the company’s strong commitment to, and performance on, the majority of ESG issues to achieve ESG integration. To achieve its goal of being the global leader in the tyre sector, JK Tyre has efficiently implemented throughout its company a set of policies that are both transparent and well-defined.

JK Tyre has also only just introduced its new Ranger HPE line of smart radial tyres, which are designed specifically for electric vehicles. In India, these innovative tyres will be made accessible for use on all vehicle types, including buses, trucks, light commercial vehicles (LCVs), and passenger automobiles. The wheels have been designed and built from the ground up to meet the one-of-a-kind requirements of electric mobility. This includes having very low resistance, enhanced traction both when wet and when dry, increased durability, and lower overall energy consumption.
JK Tyre has over 180 distribution sites throughout the world and has a presence in 105 countries. Additionally, the corporation operates 12 production facilities, nine of which are located in India and three of which are located in Mexico.
