Apollo Tyres unveils three new TBR products

Apollo Tyres is going all guns blazing in the happening Truck and Bus Radial (TBR) segment as it introduces three new products namely EnduRace RD HD, Apollo EnduMile LHD and Apollo EnduComfort CA. The products were unveiled at a scintillating event held in Chennai which was attended by Apollo’s nationwide large fleet operators and business partners, while the hint of hunky charisma was added by the WWE-fame international wrestler ‘The Great Khali’ and Milind Soman, fitness enthusiast and winner of Ironman title.

Mr. Satish Sharma, President, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa, Apollo Tyres Limited stated that the strategy behind the launch of these products is to lead the TBR segment in the country. Though the company was late in foraying into the segment, however, its technologically better-quality products, inclusive service support has helped them attain the top position within no time in this category. The TBR journey has been remarkable for Apollo Tyres, thanks to the advancing development of road infrastructure in India, which is expected to take the radialisation intensity to 65% in the coming 4-5 years in the commercial vehicles segment, he added.

These new products are designed and conceived at Apollo Tyres’ Global R&D Centre in Chennai. And before the launch the new range of tyres was assessed in the target markets in India.

The long haul drive tyre Apollo EnduMile LHD is made for high speed operations and Apollo asserts that compared to predecessor it provides 20% improved fuel efficiency. Next is Apollo EnduRace RD HD that is focused towards regional-drive and comes with ACTO (Apollo Cord Tension Optimised). As per the company, it has casing underline with 25% better strength in the belt and body ply company. The third one is Apollo EnduComfort CA, an all-wheel pattern tyre, specifically developed keeping in mind the luxury coaches. These TBRs made with latest compounds are capable of providing outstanding handling, comfort and fuel efficiency.
