JK Tyre Joins Hands With Ki Mobility To Expand Its Retail Presence

JK Tyre and Industries Ltd., the homegrown tyre manufacturer and one of the leading tyre producers in India, has tied up with Ki Mobility Solutions Private Ltd (KMS) to extend its presence in the aftermarket segment. Ki Mobility, a subsidiary of TVS group is currently one of the leading digital platforms offering quality, systematized and cost-efficient service to owners of two-wheelers, passenger cars and commercial vehicles throughout the country. The digital service platform has over 1000 outlets across India.

The latest business venture is expected to increase the market share of JK Tyre in the two-wheeler, passenger cars and commercial vehicle segment to new heights. This is one of a kind initiative in the country in the time of the Covid-19 pandemic where tyre producers are partnering with online platforms to reach customers and offer quality service to them.

In a press release, the Vice President, Replacement Sales, JK Tyres, Dinesh Dasani said that this strategic tie-up with Ki Mobility Solutions will not only render quality 24-hour service to the customer but also enhance the service portfolio pan India. He added that with this alliance, the company is confident enough to build a vast service network to push the next stage of growth and deliver the best practices in the business of aftermarket tyre service.

The company further stated that sharing these value-added services through this partnership will also better the product value via processes like automatic tyre changing, total wheel alignment, radial tyre repairs, nitrogen inflation, etc. This will eventually deliver better service to the customer with unmatched convenience. Adding to this, G Srinivasa Raghavan, the MD of TVS Automobile Solutions, said that the company will be able to address tyre service needs of more than 3 million customer base, which will grow to 10 million in the next two years, through the digital ecosystem of this 1000+ service network.

Many other tyre manufacturers are adopting this idea of collaborating with the digital service platform to enhance their customer reach.
