Moreover, the diesel mill that is 1.2 L U2 CRDi produces a maximum power output of 75 bhp at 4000 rpm alongside a top torque of 190.24 Nm at 1750-2250 rpm. The petrol-powered variant gets a choice of 4-speed AT and 5-speed manual transmission, while the diesel-powered variant sees a sole option of 5-speed manual gearbox.

Which tyres are best for Grand i10 Magna. Original tyres are from Apollo and have worn out too soon. Not too happy with their performance. There is a flat tyre virtually every fortnight with minimal city driving.

Do any of these models guarantee by no. of kms? I see 3yrs standard warranty for Michelin mentioned on your page, what all is included in std warranty? Original tyres started giving trouble after 35000 kms, is it too much or too less?

No any of the tyres does not guarantee no. of kilometres. In 3 years standard warranty, only manufacturing defects will be covered. The kms covered by the tyres also depends on driving behaviour & driving conditions. In some conditions, 35000 km is considered as good mileage whereas in some conditions 60000 to 65000 km is considered as good mileage.

I am wondering at your Recommendation of moving from 165/65/R14 to 185/60/R14. (No idea if 185 also increases ground clearance)
As one tyre shop person suggested to keep numbers same except for changing to 70 instead of 65 Size for better ground clearance.

I have Hyundai Grand i10 Diesel ASTA variant 2017 model and tire profile is 165/65 R14 Diamond cut alloys. Now its time to replace new tires with existing diamond cut alloys. I need to increase ground clearance at least to 5MM in height, need good road grip and braking performance. as per our knowledge, the size you have mentioned (165/70 R14) is an aggressive upsize and should not be used. It can start hurting your driving, compromise safety, increase wear and tear, give incorrect speedometer and odometer readings, etc.
