Hero Introduces Two-Wheelers Splendor Plus, Destini 125 And Maestro Edge 125 in BS-VI Avatars 

Hero MotoCorp, the largest manufacturer of motorbikes and scooters across the globe, has started dispatching its three new products that are BS-VI compliant. These three BS-VI spec two-wheelers from Hero Motocorp include iconic motorcycle Splendor+ and premium scooters Destini 125 and Maestro Edge 125.

 

Earlier, the company introduced the Splendor iSmart and HF Deluxe motorcycles along with with Pleasure+ 110 scooters with the refined BS-VI engines. 

 

The ex-showroom, Delhi prices of all the variants of BS-VI spec Destini 125, Maestro Edge 125 and Splendor+ are as below:

Malo Le Masson, Head of Global Product Planning, Hero MotoCorp commented that with Splendor+, Destini 125 and Maestro Edge 125, powered by BS-VI engines, the company has migrated almost its entire line-up to BS-VI norms, much before the deadline. He also hinted the company’s plans to introduced new products in the weeks to come.   

 

About Splendor+ BS-VI

The BS-VI compliant Splendor+ comes powered by a 100cc Compliant Programmed Fuel Injection engine that features ‘XSens Technology’. This engine can deliver maximum power of 7.91 BHP at 8000 RPM and maximum torque of 8.05 Nm at 6000 RPM.

 

This BS-VI motorbike is offered in three trims – Kick Start with Alloy Wheels, Self-start with Alloy Wheel and Self-Start with Alloy Wheel having i3s. The bike is available in Solid Black paintwork combinations of Purple, Grey, Red and is also offered in three palette combinations of Red-Black-Purple, in addition to Ebony Grey with Green Finish.

  

About Hero Destini 125 BS-VI  

Hero Destini 125 BS-VI gets a 125cc Compliant Programmed Fuel Injection heart that features ‘XSens Technology’. This scooter can churn maximum power 9 BHP at 7000 RPM and maximum torque of 10.4 Nm @ 5500 RPM. Compared to the predecessor, the new Destini 125 BS-VI is claimed to be 11% more fuel-efficient and have an extra 10% faster acceleration. Additionally, this scooter features i3S Technology which stands for Idle-Stop-Start System. This technology automatically turns off the engine whenever it is idle, thus being more efficient in terms of mileage. 

 

In terms of looks, the new Destini 125 BS-VI scooter gets an all-new Signature LED Guide-Lamps and a Chromed 3D Logo, which makes it look more premium. Also, the Solid appeal of this scooter is further enhanced with the addition of Matt Grey Silver option in the colour palette. 

 

About Hero Maestro Edge 125 BS-VI  

Hero Maestro Edge 125 BS-VI scooter is powered by a 125cc Compliant Programmed Fuel Injection engine that also features ‘XSens Technology’. This scooter is able to deliver maximum power of 9 BHP at 7000 RPM and maximum torque of 10.4 Nm at 5500 RPM.

 

The Maestro Edge 125 is first in the 125cc scooter segment to come with Prismatic™ Paint technology (Iridescent) – Prismatic™ Purple*. Furthermore, this scooter is offered in two trims, Disc and Drum. To attract onlookers, this scooter is offered with Signature LED insignia.
