Continental Tires India To Offer 5-Year Warranty On Truck & Bus Tyres Now!

One of the major players in the Indian tyre industry, Continental Tyres India has recently announced big news for its customers. The Indian subsidiary of Continental Tyres has introduced a new warranty program for its Indian customers called ‘Conti Bharosa.’ The program also covers the first retread applicable under normal load applications. The coverage of 5 years is best in the industry in India as normally tyre manufacturers offer only 2-3 years of warranty on truck and bus tyres.

According to Continental Tyres, retreading, a normal phenomenon in different countries is now becoming very popular in India too. Often ignored in traditional warranty programs offered by various tyre manufacturers, retreading has the potential of saving up to 50% of the cost incurred to buy a new tyre. The global tyre maker is looking to showcase its confidence in casing strength and durability by offering a casing warranty after the first retread.

Commenting on the development, Claude d’Gama Rose, MD, Continental Tyres India said, through the Conti Bharosa program, the company wants to offer peace of mind to its customers. The warranty that includes the first retread of tyres used in normal load applications also shows the high quality of our products.

He was of the view that as commercial vehicles travel thousands of kilometres in a day, therefore, their significance is high from the driver and other vehicles’ safety perspective. Keeping this in mind, Continental is offering fleet owners and operators a strong commitment to maximising safety as well as the profitability of their business.
