About LML
LML short for Lohia Machines Limited was the popular Indian motorcycle and scooter manufacturer established in the year 1972. The prime business at that time for the brand was to manufacture synthetic yarn. In 1984, LML partnered with Italian auto manufacturer Piaggio for starting a scooter project. Later in 2002, the company entered into motorcycle segment and launched some of the popular commuter bikes in the 110cc and 150cc segment. LML is the company that changed the whole scooter industry in the country and the collaboration with Piaggio played a major role in framing the scenario. Due to financial constraints, LML became defunct in the year 2017.
