Tyrexpo India 2017 – Know What Happened On The Very First Day Of The Event

The tyre industry in the Indian sub-continent today grew a notch higher with the inauguration of Tyrexpo India 2017 at Chennai Trade Hall 1, Chennai. The Day 1 of the 5th edition of the highly anticipated three-day tyre event was greeted with huge footfall and great enthusiasm by the crowd and trade visitors. Moreover, the presence of all the big shots from the tyre arena in the form of manufacturers, retailers etc., made the event more electrifying. Regarded as the subcontinent’s premier and largest exhibition for the tyre industry, Tyrexpo 2017 is scheduled between 11-13 July and is co-located with GarageXpo 2017.

Following are the highlights of the day 1 of Tyrexpo India 2017:

Opening remarks by Head of SingEx Exhibitions India, Mr Baldeep Singh.
Lamp Lighting Ceremony at the Tyre Talk seminar area by key representatives to officially initiate the event.
A talk on India’s current tyre market trends and forecast by Mr Satish Sharma, Chairman of Automotive Tyre Manufacturers Association (ATMA).
The signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Mr Aloysius Orlando, CEO of SingEx and Mr Wei Yun, Chairman of CURC to officiate the co-location of Tyrexpo and RubberTech.
Nearly all the national and international tyre manufacturers and sellers marked their presence at the event.
The exhibition area witnessed some very attractive stall designs and featured innovative ways to showcase their products.
One such unique stall was the large-size stall of famous BKT Tyres that had displayed OTR tyres in a very novel way, while other brands with appealing display included Yinbao and Opals.
Tyremarket.com located at Stall No. E13 received an overwhelming response in the form of enquiries from tyre suppliers, retailers, manufacturers and common spectators about various aspects.

For the next two days also, the Tyrexpo India 2017 exhibition will be open for the visitors between 10 am to 5 pm. In addition to the regular show, tomorrow, i.e. 12th July, the second day of the event, one of the high points will be the address by Mr Sanjeev Agarwal, CEO, Tyremarket.com, who as an esteemed panellist will share his thoughts on the current and upcoming trends of the Indian tyre industry.
