Bridgestone Launches Weather Control A005, Its First All-Season Touring Tyre

The world’s No.1 tyre and rubber company, Bridgestone, has launched its all-season touring tyre called “Weather Control A005”. This all-season tyre will help drivers to drive with full control in every season. This premium tyre offers excellent control in all conditions be it either on the highway or in the city in any weather. Moreover, it performs exceptionally well in rainy condition. This tyre has been designed keeping in mind the customers who look for year-round safety and convenience.

The making of Weather Control A005 doesn’t start at the boardroom meeting but with the research conducted on approximately 15,000 end users who have been asked questions about their day to day driving challenges and expectations. The research showed that although drivers wanted their all-season tyres to be capable of handling extreme weather but the safety in rainy condition was the primary concern for the European customers.

The Weather Control A005 has been independently tested and certified by TUV SUD (Europe’s one of the most respected automotive testing institutes) for outperforming the leading tyre competitors in braking in both snowy and wet conditions. Weather Control A005 has also been awarded EU label A-grade for its wet grip, C-grade for its rolling resistance. These are best in class EU labels. The tyre has been developed and manufactured by highly qualified engineers in Italy. The tread design has a V-shaped layout, innovative Z-side shape and high volume slots in the shoulder of the pattern. Bridgestone has launched this tyre earlier this month. It comes in 68 sizes for 15” to 20” rims. Weather Control A005 is supposed to cover the demand of about 94% of the passenger cars and on roads SUVs. Bridgestone has announced that additional sizes will be made available to customers early next year.

Bridgestone has announced that it will launch 4 small van sizes in the market later this year in the month of November. These will get the DriveGuard technology that will enable drivers to continue driving even when tyres are punctured.
