As per the updates available till now, the new Swift is not getting too many changes on the outside as well as inside. However, a big change will be seen in the form of a 90hp petrol engine. In terms of pricing, the reports suggest that India’s largest car seller is planning to price this car in the range of Rs 5.5-8.5 lakh rupees. It is expected that the new version Swift will have better fuel efficiency.
Now let’s take a look at what changes we can expect in the Maruti Suzuki Swift 2021 version in detail. Talking about the exterior, it is expected that we will see a minor change in the front grille and front design. The rest of the exterior body will remain intact just like the older versions. Now coming to the interior, except for some minor changes in seat upholstery, there’s nothing much that we can expect from Swift this year.Â
About the gearbox, Maruti Suzuki is going to give an option of the 5-speed manual as well as an automatic gearbox for the new Swift. Another important change that we are going to see in this year’s Swift’s new facelift is the fact that Maruti is saying bye to the current K12M engine, which is a 1.2-litre engine. The latest version will be equipped with Maruti’s K12N DualJet engine that’s going to provide better fuel economy.
