Tata Nano Tyres
The tyres of Tata Nano are unusual in every sense as the front and rear tyre size differ with each other. The Tata Nano front tyre comes as 135/70 R 12, whereas the rear of Nano features 155/65 R 12 tyre. Moreover, the spare tyre is same as the front tyre that is 135/70 R 12. Both, front and rear tyres are tubeless, while the wheel size measure 4 B x 12.

At the very beginning, Tata Nano had nearly no competition in the rare segment. However, with the entry of new foreign car manufacturers and value for money propositions by the home-grown car makers it witnessed reasonable rivalry. Tata Nano competes with Renault Kwid, Datsun GO, Datsun RediGO, Maruti 800 (discontinued) etc. Tata Nano variants include GenX XE, GenX XM, GenX XT, XM, GenX XMA, GenX XTA and EMax XM CNG.
Offered in Sangria Red, Damson Purple, Meteor Silver, Dazzle Blue, Pearl White colours, the mini-city hatch offers a long list of features. Some of the highlights include front and rear bumpers with ‘infinity motif’ grille, smoked headlamps, integrated tailgate spoiler, SUV-like ground clearance of 180mm, front fog lamps, roof mounted antenna and others. Whilst, the interior attributes come as beige silver accents, front power windows, EPA steering, dual glove boxes, remote keyless entry, AmphiStream music system with radio, CD, MP3, AUX-in Bluetooth for phone calls and music streaming, 4 speakers for surround sound etc.
Mechanically, Tata Nano specs comprise of 624cc, 2-cylinder, MPFi petrol engine that produces a maximum power of 37 bhp at 5500 and 51 Nm of peak torque at 4000 rpm. The engine is mated to a choice of 4-speed manual transmission or easy shift AMT gearbox.
Tata Nano Price
Out of many promising aspects, the price has been one of the USPs of Tata Nano. The price for the base model (GenX XE) starts as low as Rs 2,28,082 Lakh. Moreover, the other variants i.e. GenX XM, GenX XT, XM, GenX XMA, GenX XTA are priced at Rs 2,62,519 Lakh, Rs 2,82,155 Lakh, Rs 2,86,024 Lakh, Rs 3,03,535 Lakh, Rs 3,22,706 Lakh respectively. The greener CNG version EMax XM is tagged at Rs 2,83,766 Lakh. All prices mentioned are of ex-showroom, New Delhi.
