Sentury Tires, The Chinese Tyre Brand Makes Its Presence Felt At Tyrexpo India 2018

Popularly known as Sentury Tires, Qingdao Sentury Tire Co. Ltd., is one of the leading tyre manufacturers in China. The Qingdao-headquartered tyre maker was present at Booth # C8 of the recently concluded Tyrexpo India 2018 (21-23 June), New Delhi. The large size plush stall witnessed the representatives of the company interacting with the trade visitors edifying them about the brand and its product portfolio. The response from the visitors was quite good and by the end of day two, the company brochure and flyer racks were seen empty. After which, the Sentury team was seen giving away their business cards to the interested visitors.

Sentury Tires, previously known as Sentaida Group, is into the manufacturing of high-quality, high-performance semi-radial car and aircraft tyres. Established in the year 1992, the Chinese tyre company currently owns four independent brands namely Sentury, Landsail, Delinte and Goundspeed, out of them, Sentury and Landsail are quite famous tyre brands. At present, Sentury possesses two manufacturing facilities in – Thailand and Qingdao. The former has the annual production capacity of 10 million, while the latter has an annual production capacity of 12 million semi-radial tyres.

As per the company, the two manufacturing units are equipped with state-of-the-art R&D facilities and feature as one of the most automated tyre factories across the globe. In the year 2015, Sentury was ranked as the 50th largest tyre manufacturer in the world by sales in the trade publication magazine – Tire Business.

My need for speed began at a very early age and I realised this as soon as I got my first bicycle at the age of 8. When all the other kids would break downhill I would pedal harder just to go faster and enjoy the thrill. As of today I’m 26 years old and a proud owner of a Yamaha Fz15 version 2.0 and a Kawasaki Ninja 650 2014 model having clocked a decent 30k Kms only while touring, waiting to clock 1000s more as riding makes me feel whole again after enduring the dismal routines of life.
