MRF Launches New Masseter Tyre Range For Two Wheelers In India

One of India’s premier tyre manufacturer, MRF or also called as Madras Rubber Factory, has recently launched its new Masseter range of tyres, especially for Two Wheelers. MRF claims it as one of the most innovative additions to its range of tyres, Masseter is also aimed to be a ‘Cornering Specialist’.

With the aim of targeting the passionate bikers, the Masseter was unveiled at a special event at a race track in Coimbatore, to showcase its potential. To be more realistic at it launching, seasoned riders were invited to the race track to test the new tyre and get an enthralling hands-on experience of MRF’s cutting edge technology.

Speaking on the unveiling occasion, Koshy Varghese, Executive Vice-President Marketing, MRF Ltd. said that the idea was to get people to actually experience what the Masseter tyre can do. The main idea behind this product was to show that when it comes to tyres that are used to cornering, a rider isn’t going to risk sticking to a tyre of average quality. MRF wanted to simulate an environment where the rider could test the tyre to the maximum limit but be assured of his safety while doing so.

The Masseter Tyres will be made for two-wheelers ranging 150CC and above only.

My need for speed began at a very early age and I realised this as soon as I got my first bicycle at the age of 8. When all the other kids would break downhill I would pedal harder just to go faster and enjoy the thrill.
