Though Maruti Eeco is a value for money vehicle, however with its stylish body decals and not-so boxy looks together with notable dual tone interiors and features it never appears as a tight budget MPV. Maruti Eeco is dubbed as an ideal car for every occasion: a business trip or a picnic with the loved ones by the company. Although, there is no as such stringent competition in the budget MPV segment, but still Mahindra Supro and Datsun GO+ emerge as so-so rivals with respect to price bracket.
Maruti Eeco is offered with single choice 1.2 L, 1196cc 4-cylinder 16V petrol engine with multi-point injection system. The capable petrol mill generates a maximum power of 73 bhp at 6000 rpm together with a peak torque of 101 Nm at 3000 rpm. The engine of the multi-utility van is coupled with a 5-speed rear drive manual gearbox transmission and delivers a certified mileage of 15.1 kmpl.
Maruti Eeco comes with exterior dimensions measuring 3675 mm, 1475 mm and 1800 mm as length, width and height respectively. Moreover, the wheelbase of Maruti Eeco measures 2350 mm alongside ground clearance of 160 mm and minimum turning radius of 4.5 m.
Keeping in mind tight budget customers, Maruti Suzuki has priced Maruti Eeco pretty reasonably. The price opens at INR 3.28 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi) for the base 5-seater model and goes up to INR 36.1 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi) for the AC trim, while the 7-seater model is tagged at INR 34.8 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi).
