JK Tyre Exhibits Blaze Tyre Series At 2018 Auto Expo

JK Tyre & Industries Ltd. made its presence felt at the 14th edition of Auto Expo, ongoing at Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. JK Tyre is present at the Hall No. 5 where the Indian Motorsport Federation is exhibiting. The company is showcasing its racing vehicles and the history of Indian motorsport. Over the years, JK Tyre has spent a lot on motorsports and is associated with many championships and events. These include – The JK Tyre National Racing Championships, The Indo-Bhutan Friendship Car Rally, Hornbill Rally, JK Racing India Series, ASEAN Rally, SAARC Rally, and Indo-Myanmar Army Rally.

The home-grown tyre maker is showcasing its Blaze series of tyres. These tyres are advanced and premium in nature and have a distinct pattern. These upmarket tyres are racetrack tested and equipped with hybrid technology. The Blaze tyres are manufactured for the Bajaj Pulsar 220 and the Royal Enfield range of motorbikes. Among all this, one thing that was the centre of attraction was the largest tyre of India being showcased at Hall No. 1, a 12-feet high tyre manufactured by JK Tyre & Industries Ltd.

Amidst various major attractions present at the 2018 Auto Expo, the visitors enjoyed the thrill of off-roading outside Gate No. 11-12 at JK Tyre Ranger Off-road Experience Zone.  Here, people experienced the JK Tyre’s premium range of Ranger Tyres for SUVs.

My need for speed began at a very early age and I realised this as soon as I got my first bicycle at the age of 8. When all the other kids would break downhill I would pedal harder just to go faster and enjoy the thrill. Adding to my interest for speed, I grew engrossed in the working mechanics of two wheelers thanks to my father as he is a hydraulic mechanic and would take me along with him on his repair sessions. Eventually I became familiar with the tools and basic technical concepts of two wheelers.Super sport and sport tourers are more of my liking and the sparks to these flames were ignited the first time I experienced the maddening power of a Yamaha YZF R1. I was just 14 years old at the time and got to ride as a pillion with an older acquaintance. This one short ride influenced my every decision in terms of the bikes I want to own. As of today I’m 26 years old and a proud owner of a Yamaha Fz15 version 2.0 and a Kawasaki Ninja 650 2014 model having clocked a decent 30k Kms only while touring, waiting to clock 1000s more as riding makes me feel whole again after enduring the dismal routines of life.
