Goodyear Assurance TripleMax 2 Tyre Launched In India In 10 Sizes

Goodyear Assurance TripleMax 2 tyres will be available as a fitment option for the majority of popular cars in India.

Driving further with the legacy of Assurance TripleMax tyres, American tyre giant, Goodyear Tire & Rubber Ltd., aka Goodyear launched the new iteration of the Assurance TripleMax tyres in India. The launch also coincides with Goodyear’s 120th anniversary.

Christened as Goodyear Assurance TripleMax 2, the mid-passenger car segment tyre promises improved safety and better durability compared to its predecessor. Moreover, better traction and short braking distance under wet conditions are also the key points of the latest Goodyear tyre. On the wet road surface, the tyres are claimed to stop faster at up to 5.6 m compared to other competitors.

The Assurance TripleMax 2 tyre was unwrapped in a high-spirited 5-star event held in New Delhi by Mr P K Walia – VP, Consumer Tyre Business Goodyear India, and Mr Kenneth Jenner Powell – Product Director, Goodyear Consumer Tyres Asia Pacific. The unveiling also marked the presence of the media and tyre dealers from pan India.

Made available in 14-inch, 15-inch and 16-inch rim sizes, the Goodyear Assurance TripleMax 2 tyres offer superior ride quality and optimum comfort to the occupants. Additionally, the cutting edge tyre is also infused with HydroTred technology for better results under a wet setup. The tyre tests were conducted at an independent testing facility – TÜV SÜD using Assurance TripleMax 2 tyres with size 205/55 R 16.

The scintillating evening of the event came to an end with some energetic performances by the artists and dealer engaging sessions such as quiz contests, musical fun play and amusement thrills followed by a lavish dinner for all the Goodyear tyre dealers in attendance at the launch event. The dealers enjoyed the evening at its large, while one of the quiz participants even walked away with an LED TV, as the first prize.

Improved Comfort: Assurance TripleMax 2 tyre features revolutionary tread pattern design with a focus on low noise, thus providing a calm and smooth driving experience.

Resistance Performance: The tyre sidewall gets unique construction in terms of better design and materials used to increase resistance to a sidewall.

Currently serving as the Product Director, Asia Pacific (for consumer tyre division), Mr Kenneth Jenner Powell is responsible for driving the Goodyear’s consumer product portfolio around the Asia Pacific region and attaining company’s growth targets. He also takes charge of product development and launch strategies as per the consumer requirements and market demand/competition.

Kenneth Jenner Powell has been associated with Goodyear since last three decades. Over the years, he has held many important positions with increasing responsibilities. He was initially appointed as the consumer product engineer at the Goodyear Technical Center – Luxembourg in the year 1989. After which in 2006, he was provided with the responsibility for the product development for the European Middle East, Africa & Asia Pacific areas.

My need for speed began at a very early age and I realised this as soon as I got my first bicycle at the age of 8. When all the other kids would break downhill I would pedal harder just to go faster and enjoy the thrill.
