Bridgestone Is The New Global OE Supplier For Next-Gen BMW X3 SUV

Bridgestone Corporation, the world’s largest tyre producer has recently announced that its tyres have been named as the original equipment for BMW’s all-new third-generation X3 SUV. Giving further details, Bridgestone said, 14 different sizes of its Blizzak, Alenza 001 and Dueler H/P Sport AS tyres will be supplied to BMW.

The Bridgestone Alenza 001 summer pattern tyre, which is known for offering meticulous handling in both wet and dry conditions is stated to come equipped in the BMW X3 in 18, 19, 20 and 21 inch rim diameters. In addition to its precise handling capabilities, Alenza 001 also features run-flat technology. The Bridgestone Dueler H/P Sport AS tyre also features run-flat capabilities with an all-season tread pattern; especially designed for BMW’s X3 SUV, this tyre offers incredible driving performance and durability in all conditions. Lastly, Bridgestone’s Blizzak LM-001 tyre, a premium line, currently being sold in a few European countries that receive heavy snowfall is also specified to equip BMW X3. This tyre will also come with run-flat technology; Blizzak LM-001 will offer better performance in snowy conditions.

Moreover, Bridgestone has also informed that Blizzak LM-001 tyres will be available for customers living in colder regions as BMW approved replacement tyres. Currently, the new BMW X3 SUV in India is already coming with Alenza tyre at a price tag of INR 49.99 lakhs (Ex-showroom Delhi).
