Keeping the interests of its customers a priority, Ceat Tyres, one of India’s biggest tyre makers has announced the extension of warranty on its tyres. In a formal communication, the company has said that the benefits of this extended warranty will be available to all of its dealers across India. However, it is worth noting that this extension of warranty is applicable for the products whose standard warranty is expiring between 1st April 2021 and 30th June 2021.
The company further said that most of the major states of the country have enforced strict lockdowns and hence to make the life of customers easy the company decided to provide an extended warranty of 3 months during the second wave of COVID-19. Moreover, many automobile makers too, have made similar announcements where they have extended the warranty or free service period of their vehicles. The auto industry is reeling under the impact of the COVID crisis and various players are doing their best to keep the interest of end-consumers intact. The major brands such as Renault India, Kia Motors, MG Motor India, Hero MotoCorp, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Ltd, Yamaha India, Bajaj Auto, TVS Motor Company have announced the extension of warranty as well as free service amid the current pandemic across India.
