Maruti Ritz specifications comprise of petrol and diesel versions. The Ritz petrol is presented with the trusted 1197cc, 1.2 L VVT powered K-series 4-cylinder petrol engine gives out 87PS of maximum power at 6000 rpm together with 114Nm of peak torque at 4000 rpm. Besides being mated to a regular 5-speed manual gearbox its mid variant (VXi) also comes with a choice of Automatic Transmission (AT). Here the manual transmission and AT based engine deliver a certified mileage of 18.5 kmpl and 17.16 kmpl respectively.
The diesel counterpart is packed with a refined DDiS engine that generates 1248cc, 1.3 L mill that churns out highest power of 75 PS at 4000 rpm alongside peak 190 Nm at 2000 rpm. The prudent diesel engine coupled to a 5-speed manual transmission is capable of delivering a certified mileage of 23.2 kmpl.
Maruti Ritz hatchback has got exterior dimensions of 3775 mm, 1687 mm and 1620 mm as length, width and height in that order. The wheelbase of Maruti Ritz measures 2360 mm and ground clearance is 170 mm.
Maruti Suzuki has always been cautious about the price part. And hence they have priced their premium hatch affordably.
