According to an agreement signed between the world’s leading tyre manufacturer Michelin and the German conglomerate Siemens AG, the latter is going to a supplier of industrial automation technology and engineering software to the Michelin. The French tyre making giant is looking to fully optimise its industrial structures and fully utilise its industrial facilities.
Speaking on the agreement, Peter Haan, Global Head of Vertical Market Management Tyre at Siemens said, that this new partnership between the two companies will lift and take their already established relationship that is based on innovative and trustworthy cooperation, to a new level.
Siemens is implementing its ‘meeting global and local needs’ approach to provide Michelin’s production facilities with a first class service. It is also looking forward to have a long lasting relationship with Michelin worldwide.
