Maxxis Tyres Rolls Out Its Business Plan At The Dealers Meet In Surat
Surat, September 24, 2018: Maxxis India, which is a subsidiary of the Maxxis group organised a dealer’s meet for the very first time in Surat, Gujrat. Maxxis group is considered as the largest two-wheeler tyre manufacturer in the world. It is also one of the fastest growing tyre manufacturing company globally. The meet was organised to familiarise the dealers of Maxxis India with the various products of the company, which are made to work perfectly in the diverse Indian conditions. The meet also dwelt on the transparent claim redress process the company follows and the industry best warranty it extends to all its products.
Addressing the event, The Retail Sales Head, Maxxis India, Mr. Bing-Lin Wu commented that, “India is one of the world’s biggest 2-Wheeler market and hence the need for mobility is big. We believe that distributors and dealers have an integral role to play in Maxxis India’s growth trajectory. Currently, we have 34 dealers in Surat and have already onboarded around 211 dealers in Gujarat within this year. We are confident that with the support and commitment from our dealer partners, Maxxis will soon become one of the leading tyre brands in India.”
From the dealer side, Mr. Kalpesh Patel of Shri Sai Tyres who is a Maxxis distributor in Surat explained in detail about the latest products and solutions of Maxxis India. This includes the 5+1 unconditional warranty offered by Maxxis for its two-wheeler tyres, which is considered to be the best in the industry. This warranty includes no question asked, unconditional replacement of all damaged tyres. Additionally, he also explained the various incentive programs offered by the company to its dealers. Maxxis India has performed exceptionally well in the Indian market. It has started its first manufacturing facility in Sanand Gujrat in March this year and is already planning to get a market share of 15% for two-wheeler tyres in the next five years. The Indian market, which is one of the fastest growing in the world, is likely to play a great role in the overall plan of the Maxxis group to become the fifth largest tyre manufacturer in the world by 2026.
To achieve its goal, the company is planning to build 5 more manufacturing plants in India. These plants will also build tyres for the four-wheeler tyre market. Maxxis group is a subsidiary of Cheng Shin Rubber Ind. Co. Ltd. It is the largest two-wheeler tyre manufacturer in the world and is the ninth largest tyre company in the whole world. The company has its branches in more than 180 countries spread across six continents. It has 21 manufacturing plants and 5 research centres in different parts of the world.
The Indian branch of the Maxxis Group, Maxxis India started its operation in 2015 through its first manufacturing facility in Sanand, Gujarat. It is a huge facility, which is spread over 106 acres. This plant can produce 20,000 tyres and 40,000 tubes per day. Maxxis India at present is the OEM tyre supplier for Honda bikes, Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, Tata, and Jeep in India. Additionally, Maxxis Rubber India is also the original equipment tyre supplier to Honda Activa since 2015. This scooter is the number one selling model of India.
