JK Tyre 100 Retread Centres By 2020

Indian tyre manufacturing giant, JK Tyre in line with its plans to expand its global footprint, recently started its first retread centre in Pokhara, Nepal. The company told that the centre is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, machinery and highly skilled manpower. The centre offers company recommended retread and repair procedures. According to sources, the tyre maker has plans to open over 100 more centres by the year 2020.

Earlier, JK Tyre first got involved in the retreading rubber business in the year 2009. The company set up a retread rubber facility in north Indian state of Rajasthan that provides original tread design for retreading of tyres to various fleet owners. The retread facility of JK Tyres serves various State Transport Corporations and fleets in the Indian market across pre-cured rubber treads and allied material categories.
