Tyrexpo India 2018 – A Quick Glance At Jinyu Tires

Jinyu Tires Co. Ltd. aka Jinyu Tire is one of the key international tyre manufacturers in the global tyre arena. The Shandong, China based tyre maker was in attendance as an exhibitor at the recently concluded Tyrexpo India 2018 (21-23 June) in New Delhi. Located at Stall # D15, Jinyu Tires’ booth had a full range of India-specific tyres at the display. The three-day tyre event saw innumerable visitors coming to the Jinyu stall, while the Jinyu team was seen explaining them about the advanced technology that has gone into the making of these tyres.

Although, worldwide, Jinyu offers varied season tyres such as summer tyres, winter tyres, snow tyres and all-season tyres etc., for passenger cars and SUVs, high-performance tyres, all-terrain tyres and car racing tyres. However in India in collaboration with SK International, the sole authorised agent in India for the distribution and marketing of Jinyu brand tyres, the Chinese tyre giant is only focusing on the passenger car tyre segment. Jinyu tyres in India offer increased wear resistance, better fuel economy, superior manoeuvrability, and stability at high speeds, low heat build-up and cut resistance, better braking and stronger puncture resistance.

Started in the year 1995 in a small factory, Jinyu tyres today finds itself on the 18th position among the largest tyre manufacturers in the world. My need for speed began at a very early age and I realised this as soon as I got my first bicycle at the age of 8. When all the other kids would break downhill I would pedal harder just to go faster and enjoy the thrill. Adding to my interest for speed, I grew engrossed in the working mechanics of two wheelers thanks to my father as he is a hydraulic mechanic and would take me along with him on his repair sessions. I was just 14 years old at the time and got to ride as a pillion with an older acquaintance. This one short ride influenced my every decision in terms of the bikes I want to own. As of today I’m 26 years old and a proud owner of a Yamaha Fz15 version 2.0 and a Kawasaki Ninja 650 2014 model having clocked a decent 30k Kms only while touring, waiting to clock 1000s more as riding makes me feel whole again after enduring the dismal routines of life.
