Dear Dodda Manohar

The tyre size of Honda Activa 4G is 90/100-10. You can buy Michelin City Pro as it has Robust construction which is less prone to damages from road hazards & punctures. Other than this is will provide you with excellent handling and longer life.

Hi

I have Activa 4G 2017 model.
I need to change my rear tyre.

Current tyre is tubeless, and local mechanic said to go for CEAT tube-type tyre becuase my daily runnnig is only 6-8 kms.

Q1) Can tube-type tyre be easily fitted on the tubeless tyre rim.
Q2) Which type tyre should I go for, as I have only 6-8KM runnning daily.
Q3) Which brand and model is best suited for the good grip.

Dear Himanshu

Yes, you can change a tubeless tyre with a tubetype tyre but for that, you need to change the rim of the vehicle. We would recommend you to go with tubeless tyres only. As you said that you have a Honda Activa 4G 2017 model and you are looking for better grip you can buy any of the below-mentioned tyres.

Maxxis 6000: It will provide you with excellent dry & wet grip.

I have a 2015 Honda Activa 3g, and i have completed 15,000 km. I’m not entirely sure if i currently have tubeless or tube tyres, but either case, I’m looking to buy the Michelin City pro tyres. Will they work fine for my activa, as they are tubeless, or should i go for CEAT Grip tubed tyres instead? I would prefer getting tubeless tyres though. Thank you!

Team Tyremarket.com

Team Tyremarket.com

Dear Anmol

You can check your tyre type, if TL is written on the sidewall of the tyre then it is tubeless tyre otherwise, it is a tube-type tyre. IF your vehicle is currently fitted with tubeless tyres then you can go with Michelin City Pro tubeless tyre and if your tyre is fitted with tube-type tyres then you need to change the rim for getting tubeless tyres installed in your vehicle.

Hello sir, I have a activa model of year 2014 in which i have tubless tyres but i want to use tube type tyres or can i insert tubes in tubless tyres. I request you to suggest me which will be suitable for my activa. In tubless tyres we have to fill full air presure & in tube type little less air in tube will work like suspension in whatever road conditions we ride the activa. Please reply and suggest me.
