Goodyear India Join Hands With Americares India Foundation To Aid COVID-19 Healthcare Facilities in Faridabad & Aurangabad

Delhi, January 15, 2021: Supporting people during the COVID-19 pandemic, Goodyear India is aiding Government Medical College & Hospital in Aurangabad and Faridabad Civil Hospital. The company as part of its corporate social initiatives is providing these hospitals Personal Protective and Quarantine Ward Equipment. This project is implemented by the Americares India Foundation and is aimed at strengthening the public health system during the current pandemic. The foundation will help out the tyre maker in the distribution of this equipment and ensure that these are properly used at both the facilities.

According to the partnership between Americares India Foundation and Goodyear India, the latter is helping the hospitals in Aurangabad and Faridabad by donating critical equipment that is required for the treatment of COVID-19 patients. Under this initiative, Goodyear India is providing multipara monitors, bedside ventilators, pulse oximeters and such items. Other than these items, the tyre maker is also providing the hospital’s frontline staff with sanitisers, N95 Mask, 3 Ply masks and PPE Kits. Both these hospitals are dedicated towards the treatment of COVID-19 patients in their area. Their experienced and committed teams are working 24×7 to fight this pandemic.

Speaking on this social initiative, Goodyear India’s MD, Mr. Sandeep Mahajan said that their aim is to help and strengthen the public healthcare system during these unprecedented times by sharing the burden. He lauded the help provided by Americares India Foundation in this noble effort and told that they are determined to create a difference in the community.

Both the hospitals are facing a huge burden and shortage of equipment due to the fact that the number of COVID-19 patients is over 45 thousand in Aurangabad as well as Faridabad. Therefore, Goodyear India’s help is unavailable in these tough times.
