The three-day (21-23 June) tyre trade event, Tyrexpo India 2018 took place with all enthusiasm and fervour at the Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. India’s largest tyre show witnessed the attendance of many national and international tyre manufacturers. Among the foreign tyre makers, Evergreen Tyres made its presence felt at the Stall # C48 with its vast range of tyres at the display. Trade visitors, as well as common spectators, were seen checking out tyres with varied tread patterns and designs. Evergreen Tyre was present at the booth with its authorised Indian partner, Plati India Private Limited.
In India, Evergreen majorly aims at the passenger car tyre segment comprising the likes of Evergreen EH 226, Evergreen ES 82, Evergreen EU 728, Evergreen EH 22, Evergreen EH 23 and others. The international tyre maker with the distribution network in more than 100 countries, Evergreen tyre is based in Shanghai, China. The premium tyres are manufactured using a silica-based tread compound, which ensures better grip and handling and goes through rigorous testing phases in order to attain excellent quality levels.
The parent company of Evergreen tyres, Shandong Jinyu Industrial Co., and Sailun Tire Co. came together by way of merger and became the first A-listed Chinese private enterprise. After their strategic merger, it is now known as Sailun Jinyu Group, the firm deals in the development and manufacturing of rubber tyres. Currently, on annual basis, Sailun Jinyu Group holds a production capacity of more than 4.2 million TBR (truck bus radial) tyres, 32 million passenger car tyres alongside 40,000 tons of OTR tyres.
