On day one of 15th Maruti Suzuki Desert Storm Rally, the participants reached Hanumangarh in Rajasthan in the morning. From here they will move to Bikaner and will reach there by tonight. In the way, they would encounter the terrains and sands of the Thar Desert.
Their biggest test would come in Jaisalmer where they will have to manage 150 kms in night driving stage of the Desert Storm Rally. The participants not only need to stay mentally and physically fit, but they also got to make sure that their vehicle is in good shape.
Arjun & Jathin are rallying for Tyremarket.com and they have successfully completed their distance to Hanumangarh from Noida. We reached Hanumangarh at around 11 a.m. and will reach Bikaner by tonight 10 – 11 p.m., said Arjun. He also told that as the participants are not allowed to change their car “during the rally” so it is pivotal to take good care of the vehicle. He looked optimistic for the later stages of the rally.
