Day 1 of the most anticipated auto show, AutoTechnika Bengaluru 2019, was filled with excitement and fervour. Organised by Media Day Marketing (MMD) at the Bangalore Exhibition Centre (BIEC), the AutoTechnika 2019, a 3-day (June 14-16, 2019) event, saw a remarkable response from the business visitors as well as the exhibitors. On 14th June, the global exposition on auto components, spare parts, accessories and allied industry was inaugurated today by the Mayor of Yeounggwang, South Korea, Mr. Kim Jun Seong, and the Minister for Large & Medium Scale Industries – Commerce & Industries Department – Govt. of Karnataka, Mr. K J George.
Soon after the sparkling opening ceremony, a conference was held among the experts from various corners of the automotive industry. The detailed discussion revolved around the current trends and future growth prospects of the sector. Here, Mr. Kim Jun Seong (Mayor, Yeounggwang City, South Korea) shared his vital thoughts on the ongoing progress of the automobile and allied industry in India and its positive impact on South Korean manufacturers. He was speaking in his native South Korean language, which was interpreted in English simultaneously for the addressees.
The four-thousand square metres area saw a huge number of visitors at the grand auto event, which was studded by nearly 100 exhibitors displaying their products and services. In order to attract the crowd, the exhibitors tried their best to showcase their products in the most unique way possible. Apart from Indian exhibitors, there were also participants from countries like Taiwan, South Korea, China, United States etc.
The annual mega auto show also featured a co-located event in the form of Green Vehicle Expo, which was also a crowd puller with exhibitors showcasing their e-vehicles and their components. Besides uniquely developed two-wheelers, there were also three-wheelers and e-rickshaws at the display for the visitors. Here the large stall of Syndicate Auto Components, which had various 2-3 wheeler green vehicles, saw a large number of visitors.
Also, the outstandingly designed stall of BENLG with marvellously conceived e-scooters saw a tremendous response from the visitors. BENLG had many scooter models at display with every scooter denoting the number of kilometres it can run in single full charge. Well known two-wheeler multi-brand spares company, Greaves also saw its representatives explaining the visitors about their concept and products at display.
Official media partner for AutoTechnika 2019, Tyremarket.com also gained a lot of attention from the crowd and the business visitors at their huge stall. There were folks who were curious to know how can they buy their favourite tyres online and even get it fitted in their vehicle with a few clicks.
