Hankook Tire, the world’s 7th largest tyre manufacturer has launched the KINERGY ST tyre. Designed for smooth handling and long tread life, KINERGY ST tyre is a standard all-season tyre. It is learnt that Hankook will start producing these tyres at their US tyre manufacturing plant in the southern state of the country. Later, the production of Kinergy ST tyres will also take place in Hankook’s other tyre manufacturing plants worldwide.
The new all-season tyre offers not only superior handling but also an increased mileage. Through this release Hankook has expanded its presence in the passenger tyre segment.
The major features and offers that KINERGY ST comes with include:
- A 70,000 miles warranty inclusive of road hazard coverage
- 30-day free trial for guaranteed customer satisfaction
- A UTQG rating of 680/A/A
Some specific sizes of the KINERGY tyre are available from 1 April via. Hankook certified dealers, the other sizes will be made available soon to the customers.
The KINERGY ST’s Dual-Filler system makes sure that the tyre offers extremely balanced wet and dry performance as well as improved tread life by having low rolling resistance. The new tyre also offers increased mileage due to an optimized tread block stiffness that helps in maintaining tread uniformity and amplifies durability.
Came into existence in 1941 as Chosun Tire Company, Hankook is currently ranked number 7 at the global level in terms of annual tyre production. The company is headquartered at Seoul, South Korea.
