CEAT Launches New LCV Radial Sizes Under The MILAZE Badge

With the growing use of radial tyres in LCVs, India’s leading tyre manufacturer CEAT Limited has introduced new LCV radial sizes under its new series of LCV radial tyres platform ‘Milaze’. The company believes that this will cater to goods and passenger carriers. These new sizes will be available across India in various markets very soon.

The new sizes launched under Milaze series are – 7.00 R16 | 7.50 R16 | 8.25 R16 | 235/75 R17.5. The 7.00 R16 Milaze AW has shoulders with deep grooves specially designed to reduce heat build-up which will have a positive impact on tyre’s health.

The 8.25 R16 and 7.50 R16 tyres have special tread design and compound that helps to reduce heat build-up. Moreover, the wider tread also gives the tyre good traction. The stress relaxation sipes in shoulder ribs offer low rolling resistance that will result in better fuel efficiency.

Furthermore, the 235/75 R17.5 Milaze tyres have four longitudinal grooves that will efficiently disperse the water from tread channels thereby improving the road grip of the vehicle. It also offers cornering stability because of the continuous shoulder ribs.

While commenting about the new launches, Nitish Bajaj, Vice President Marketing, CEAT Tyres, said that radial tyres offer advantages like longer life, better vehicle control and lower fuel consumption and CEAT constantly endeavours to manufacture tyres that are beneficial to their customers. With respect to CEAT’s introduction of Milaze platform for LCV vehicles, the company is positive that it will gather huge demand across markets.
