Falken Tyres To Feature In The New Skoda Superb Sedan

Falken brand’s ECORUN tyres will be soon fitted to the marvellous Skoda Superb saloon. Skoda Auto has formally tied up with Falken Tyre Europe GmbH, which is the European partner of the Japanese tyre manufacturer Sumitomo Rubber Industries, to supply tyres to its spellbinding sedan.

Czech Republic-based premium automobile maker’s Superb sedan was launched in the Indian car market in February this year. The sedan is rated as one of the most appealing mid-size cars in the segment released by Skoda India and will now be fitted with the Falken’s ZIEX ZE914 ECORUN tyres as standard fitment.

Mr. Christian Stolting, Key Account Manager, Falken Tyre Europe stated that the Falken tyres’ ECORUN brand is designed for maximum rolling resistance alongside this rubber also ensures better mileage by lessening the energy loss. Tyre firm’s engineers have successfully reduced the rolling resistance without compromising on grip or safety in wet weather conditions.

Falken’s all-new ECORUN ZIEX ZE914 tyres are manufactured keeping in mind the ‘sporty and comfortable’ aspect and are devised to provide superior grip under wet as well as dry conditions. Based on the VW Group’s modular MQB platform, the New Skoda Superb sedan, equipped with Falken ECORUN tyres, is tagged at Rs 25.27 Lac, Ex-Showroom Mumbai.

Falken Tyre Corporation is a subsidiary of Japanese tyre major Sumitomo Rubber Industries. Headquartered in Rancho Cucamonga CA, the company was established in the year 1983. Falken also owns and controls Ohtsu brand tyres, which are aimed at value-minded consumers.
