Right from the new Santro to the trusty Alto K10, there are quite a few AMT or automatic cars that you may purchase within Rs. 6 lakh in India.
You do not require a lot of money to buy an automatic car in India today. Even entry-level car models today have automatic options owing to AMT or automated manual transmission tech. This was the trend firmly established by Maruti Suzuki’s Celerio and has caught on for almost all passenger car models in the mass market. The AMT is the sole option if you are looking for something affordable and this may also ensure almost similar mileage as manual transmission systems too.
Here are the models which you can buy for less than Rs. 6 lakh in India.

The fuel economy number is 20.3 kmpl for the AMT version of the Hyundai Santro. There are two variants for the same price at less than Rs. 6 lakh (ex-showroom).
