Natural Rubber Consumption To Rise By 4.1%, Predicts The ANRPC

The Association of Natural Rubber Producing Countries (ANRPC) has predicted a healthy growth of 4.1% in the consumption of natural rubber by the member countries (Natural Rubber Producing). ANRPC countries are said to consume about 65% of all the natural rubber worldwide. However, this year they have consumed (First 11 months) about 7.387 million tonnes of natural rubber so far, up by 4.3% from the last year.

The two largest consumer of NR in the world; China and India have consumed 3.7% and 4.6% more rubber this year than last year respectively. More importantly, the consumption grew even faster in natural rubber exporting countries. In Malaysia (9.6%), Vietnam (17.4%) while in the Philippines the consumption was up by (16.8%).
