Honda Launches BigWing Virtual Showroom, Offers Contactless Buying To Its Customers

The BigWing virtual showrooms will offer 360-degree product demos and a host of features, which can be accessed from the comfort of your home.

As a part of increasing its reach among customers, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter in India (HMSI) has launched virtual showrooms for its outlet of premium motorcycles – Honda BigWing. Through this new virtual showroom, which is available on smartphones, laptops, iPads and other similar devices, Honda will be offering a digital interface to its prospective customers.

With this virtual showroom, the customers can access the details of the products and services in a contactless fashion. The platform will be offering a display of 360-degree product demos, direct-to-home delivery of new motorcycles, documentation related to the purchase and chat support with a virtual assistant. These will be very much similar to the experience of buying a new motorcycle from an actual showroom, without visiting one. In this new BigWing virtual showroom platform, the prospective customers will have the option of choosing the preferred dealership of communication as per their location.

Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Director, Sales and Marketing, HMSI, commented that with this platform, Honda is aiming to reach those customers who do not have any direct or near access to the physical BigWing dealer outlet. The new platform which uses advance digital tech, Honda is trying to meet the evolving needs and changing preferences of the customers. Apart from the details on all the models in the Honda BigWing lineup, the customers can also check out other kinds of stuff like riding gear, merchandise, accessories and exclusive ‘MotoGP Wall’ on the virtual platform.

Currently, the customers can see the details of the most affordable model from Honda BigWing, the Honda H’ness CB350, on this virtual showroom platform. However, the platform will soon be updated with other more premium models from Honda in the coming days. The physical Honda BigWing showrooms are currently located only in metros and retail premium models from Honda, ranging from the H’ness CB350 to the mighty Honda Goldwing.

Following are all the models which are made available at the Honda BigWing outlets:

Honda H’ness CB350 – The most affordable model from Honda BigWing, the H’ness CB350 is a neo-retro 350cc roadster designed for urban commutes and small weekend getaways.
Honda CB350 RS – The CB350 RS is a sportier avatar of the H’ness, with a different looking tail section, seat, LED turn indicators and different tyres compared to the H’ness CB350.
Honda CB 500X – This parallel twin semi-faired 500cc adventure tourer from Honda is the most affordable middleweight offering from the Japanese automaker.
Honda CB 650R – The CB 650R is a four-cylinder naked roadster from Honda, which currently is one of the most affordable motorcycles in the country to have an inline four-cylinder engine.
Honda CBR 650R – The Honda CBR 650R is essentially a fully-faired version of the naked CB 650R with a full fairing and dual-LED headlamp set up at the front.
Honda Africa Twin – The Africa Twin is the only dual-purpose adventure motorcycle from Honda and has a well-built reputation for being a capable motorcycle off the road.
Honda CB 1000R – The litre-class offering in the naked roadster category, the CB 1000R is available only on a made-to-order basis in India.
Honda CBR 1000RR-R – Commonly known as Fireblade, the Honda CBR 1000RR-R is the company’s offering in the much competitive segment of litre-class supersport motorcycles.
Honda Goldwing – The Goldwing has a great reputation as one of the biggest and most comfortable touring motorcycles all over the world.
