The most awaited rally of India, the Maruti Suzuki Desert Storm will start off today at New Delhi. The rally is off late dubbed as mini “Dakar Rally”, it is divided into four categories Xtreme, Endure, Moto and Xplore. With each category having its own challenges and rules. However, the Xplore segment will have the option for the participants to participate either for all 6 days or opt for a shorter duration (first 3 days or last 3 days).
Desert Storm will start from New Delhi and will cover Hanumangarh, Bikaner, Jaisalmer and finally concluding at the beautiful city of Jodhpur. At Jaisalmer the rally will involve night driving of about 150 kms. It is without doubt the toughest phase of the rally where navigator and driver have to face those cold nights of the desert that will test them and their vehicle.
Tyremarket.com’s hopes are on seasoned rally drivers Jathin and Arjun. With 68 trophies between them the duo will give their best to bring this year’s honour to the Tyremarket.com. Jathin will take on the steering wheel as the driver while Arjun will perform the duties of the navigator. Team Tyremarket wishes them best of luck and is looking forward them to win the rally.
