In the upcoming Farm and Progress Show in the US, India’s CEAT Speciality Tyres Limited is set to showcase its products. The show is scheduled to be held from 28th to 30th August, 2018 in Boone, Iowa. The products that will be showcased by CEAT includes Farmax R85 Ag radial tyre – a low compaction Ag tyre designed to offer high traction and high roadability.
As per CEAT, the tyre’s flexible sidewalls with wider tread face and higher inner tyre volume will help to reduce soil compaction, thereby allowing carrying larger loads at lower pressure. Its lug overlap and dual lug angle design add to the high traction and roadability characteristics. Farmax R85 comes in 20 sizes that cover the rim diameters ranging from 20 to 46 inches. It comes with a 7-year warranty and is protected against stubble damage and field hazard.
As per CEAT Managing Director, Vijay Gambhire, CEAT has a high-quality product manufactured at one of the world’s most advanced Ag radial factories. This warranty will encourage the US farmers and ranchers to try CEAT tyres. We have tremendous respect for North American farmers and look forward to meeting them at the Farm and Progress show, Gambhire said. He further added, CEAT will talk with the farmers to understand how to serve them in a better way in the near future.
CEAT has set up its US business unit last year in Charlotte, North Carolina and specializes in agricultural, construction and mining tyres. The Farm and Progress Show offers the Indian tyre maker an opening window to reach North American customers and to expand its presence in other North American countries such as – Mexico and Canada. In addition to the Farmax R85, the company will also display its new products in 65 series, 70 series, row crop and flotation tyres and the CEAT range of bias tyres.
