Ladakh Roadtrip Update: The biker group ‘The Griffin Riders’ reach Nagpur on Day 2.
The Griffin Riders, a Bengaluru based biker group which is on an expedition to Ladakh has reached Nagpur in Maharashtra today around 9:30 pm. After reaching Hyderabad last night around 8:00 pm, The Griffin Riders started their Day 2 (19th July) journey early morning to cover the distance of about 500 km. The group of young enthusiastic riders is supported by India’s leading e-commerce tyre portal, Tyremarket.com and includes six ardent bike riders. These riders are also a part of many popular riding clubs recognized by ABC Bangalore.
During the course of this expedition, The Griffin Riders will pass through seven high altitude motorable passes including the world’s highest motorable pass, Khardung La, which is situated over 5,000 metres above the sea level. The riders will also cover the famous Pangong Lake, popularly called as Pangong Tso, situated at a height of over 4,000 metres above the sea level.
Over the last couple of years, Tyremarket.com has been continually involved in promoting young and talented motorists throughout the country on various platforms such as Maruti Suzuki Desert Storm Rally and CEAT Sprint Rally. However, this is the first time that India’s leading e-commerce tyre portal is extending its support to bikers.

Over these 20 days, the bikers will not only tackle difficult terrains, but also bear the effects of changing weather conditions from one extreme to another as they travel from the warm and rainy weather of South and Central India to the extremely cold weather of Ladakh in India’s northern most state of Jammu & Kashmir.
