India’s one of the oldest and most important motorsport events, JK Tyre FMSCI National Racing Championship is all set to commence from 6 July, 2018. Popularly known as NRC, this will be the 21st edition of the championship. The event is set to kick off in the southern Indian city of Coimbatore, where country’s top drivers will compete against each other to become the fastest racer of the year. The NRC include the Suzuki Gixxer Cup, the Euro JK and LGB Formula 4 single-seater race car series. Over the course of a year, NRC will see an array of rallying and off-roading events.
JK Motorsport announced the schedule of NRC last week and the championship is scheduled to take place in the following manner:
- The first round will take place from July 6 to 8, 2018 at Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore
- The second round will take place from August 21 to September 2, 2018
- The third round will take place from October 12 to 14, 2018
- The final round will take place from November 16 to 18, 2018 at the Buddh International Circuit (BIC) in Greater
Speaking on the occasion, Sanjay Sharma, JK Motorsport Head told that they are extremely happy and satisfied after completing the milestone of 20 years of JKNRC. He further added, this year they will look to renew their commitment to support young talent to thrive in the world of racing.
