The Formula 1 Championship tyre supplier, Pirelli is all set to launch its high-performance bicycle tyres by September this year. Christened as ‘PZero Velo’, the tyres are designed for road racing bicycles and will go on sale in Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific regions after its launch. Pirelli PZero Velo tyres will carry the legacy of Pirelli’s iconic PZero car racing tyres, which has been a mark of best in class technology and ultra high performance. The new line of Pirelli PZero Velo bicycle tyres will be showcased at the Eurobike (D) show.
The Pirelli P Zero line tyre will have color-coded branding element inspired from its Formula One tyres. The Silver colour will be for Road Racing, Red for Time Trial, while the Blue will be dedicated to Four Seasons. Besides, bike tyre retailers, the PZero Velo tyres will also be made available through company’s e-commerce site. The prominent Italian tyre maker has been the longest tyre supplier in the history of the Superbike World Championship. It provided tyres to more than 350 national and international championships worldwide.
