Qatar Airways Tyre Blows Out in Nigeria

About 100 passengers survived a scary incident when a Qatar Airways Boeing 767 plane suddenly faced tyre burst at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, Nigeria while attempting for a take-off.

The incident happened around 3 p.m. when the plane was about to leave for United Arab Emirates. According to Nigerian News Agencies, the incident happened at the runaway 18 that is used for international flights. The plane was parked at one of the hangars in the airport for repair and certification before it would get back to operations.

According to a passenger’s account the atmosphere was fearful and all the passengers started praying and thinking to God that nothing bad happened.
