Birla Carbon, a flagship business of the Aditya Birla Group won the “Supplier Awards for 2016” from Pirelli for its quality and global presence. The company got this honour in Milan, Italy during “2016 Pirelli Suppliers Awards”. Birla Carbon is the only company in the business of carbon black to have received this honour from Pirelli.
The award was received by Birla Carbon’s President, North America and Europe & Africa, Mr John Loudermilk, he said ,that he and his company are very happy and proud to have got this award from Pirelli. He also went on to say that as the world leader in carbon black, his company is always focused on satisfying its customers by giving supplies on time without any delay. He further added, “Our partnership with Pirelli has grown over many years and we look forward to scaling new heights of success in the years to come.”
The criteria for selection for the awards was based on factors such as sustainability, quality, service, and innovation. Pirelli’s Purchasing department manages this process of selection.
