About CEAT EnergyDrive
The new CEAT EnergyDrive tyres designed for new-age electric vehicles like the MG Comet EV come with an EasyFlex Cavity design, allowing it to offer lower rolling resistance. The easy rolling translates into the maximum driving range of the vehicle. The use of a durable compound provides higher wear resistance, resulting in a longer tyre life.
The CEAT EnergyDrive tyre gets new DuraBlock technology, which increases the tangential and lateral stiffness of the tyre by 6 per cent compared to other similarly-sized tyres. This feature helps it in withstanding instant high torque delivery from the powertrain, thus reducing tyre spin under high acceleration.
