Continental To Provide Tyres For Electric Kia EV6

In a recent development for one of the premier tyre makers, Continental’s PremiumContact 6 and CrossContact RX tyres have been selected as original equipment for the Kia EV6. These tyres will have Continental’s ContiSilent technology. According to the company, customers in various countries would get the choice of choosing from a wide range of premium Continental replacement tyres for different seasons as per their requirements.

Speaking of the performance of PremiumContact 6 tyres, they are specially designed for safe and comfortable driving. They offer a very low rolling resistance that helps Kia EV6 to give a higher driving range to its customers. These tyres are made with a special tread compound that gives an optimal performance, better safety and a great wet-road braking performance. Moreover, the tyre also offers better lateral force transmission and cornering stability. Due to asymmetric circumferential grooves, PremiumContact 6 contributes to highly responsive handling and excellent steering precision on dry as well as wet roads. It is worth noting that the version used on Kia EV6 has got Label A (the top wet grip rating as per the EU’s tyre labelling system.
