CEAT has officially signed a two-year deal with the Bollywood stalwart Aamir Khan. During this period, the ace actor will feature in CEAT’s various integrated marketing campaigns across media platforms. Currently, the tyre maker has decided to feature Aamir Khan in at least two commercials during the ongoing IPL 2020 to promote its SecuraDrive range of tyres.
These tyres are known for their smart compounding technology and wide longitudinal tread grooves. This makes SecuraDrive tyres perform equally well on wet and dry roads while keeping the vehicle under control at all times. In addition to this, SecuraDrive’s enhanced tyre tread technology means the noise levels inside the vehicle will remain low. Talking in terms of this range’s use in SUVs and sedans, it is widely used in Skoda Octavia, Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Honda WR-V and Honda City.

Expressing his excitement on the association with CEAT, Aamir Khan said that he is extremely proud to be associated with one of India’s biggest tyre brands. He added, “I fell in love with the script and idea and enjoyed playing the character of a dummy, which is a very unique experience for me”.

He also added that IPL with its massive viewership is the perfect opportunity for them to connect with potential customers. Previously too, CEAT has sponsored the strategic-timeout for the Indian Premier League (IPL) from 2015 to 2018.
