Maruti Suzuki Desert Storm Rally 2017: Update Day 4

On day four of 15th Maruti Suzuki Desert Storm participants are all set to face the toughest part of the rally. Tonight they will start the “150 kms night driving” stage of the rally. The cold nights of Thar Desert will throw tough challenge to them.

Jathin & Arjun, who are rallying for Tyremarket did really well today in their category. They are bearing number ‘308’ on their car and are participating in Xplore category. Till last updates, the duo were on 4th position in the Xplore category. The rally has four categories viz. Xtreme, Endure, Moto and Xplore. Around 8:30 p.m. they will embark on the night driving phase in the beautiful city of Jaisalmer.

Maruti  Suzuki Desert Storm is one of the premier rally of India and its beauty lies in the fact that it covers the heart of majestic and colourful Rajasthan. Often dubbed as mini Dakar Rally, Desert Storm is all about perseverance. The participants not only have to fight the climate, terrain and sand, but they also need to make sure that their vehicle is in perfect condition. No change of vehicle is allowed throughout the rally.
