The Griffin Riders, a Bengaluru based adventure-loving biker group reached Srinagar on Day 9 of Ladakh Expedition 2018. The six man group consists of Azizul Haq, Santhosh Kumar G, CV Karthick, Sadik Roy, Md Yasar and Shashanka Sasuke. All of them are associated with some of the renowned biking clubs of Bengaluru.
Earlier in the week on Day 7 of this 20 day expedition, the Griffin Riders reached Chandigarh via Delhi. From here, on Day 8 riders took their way to the state of Jammu and Kashmir where they will be riding on the world’s highest motorable pass, Khardung La. During this journey, the group will also traverse one of the highest lakes of India, Pangong Lake in Ladakh. The whole expedition is divided into three phases and once the group reaches Khardung La, the first phase will be over.
In phase two, which is about 1,400 km, the riders will take the return route via Manali and reach New Delhi on Day 16 i.e. 2nd August 2018. And, from New Delhi they will embark on the third and the last phase of this expedition, which will see them reaching Bengaluru on Day 20 i.e. 6th August 2018.
The Griffin Riders are supported by India’s leading online tyre selling portal, Tyremarket.com. And, this will be the first time that these riders will cross the Khardung La pass.
