Suzuki is back with the launch of its second-ever 250cc offering in the country – Gixxer SF 250. The all new styling, powerful features, a new single-cylinder, overhead cam engine, four valve, Suzuki Oil Cooling System (SOCS) and LED lighting is all that a millennial is looking for in a high performance bike. 1. A Whole New Design
Suzuki is known for its unique and fresh designs and the same is evident in their new offering. Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 has an entirely different design. When compared to the international model, the Indian one has a lot of differences. While both the models boost of the same sporty look, India-spec Gixxer SF 250 comes with unique headlamp design, sharp body, and overall aggressive look. For the rear, Suzuki has opted for a minimalistic approach by giving a sharp and simple tail light. All in all, the balance is enough to create a style statement.

If you are looking for a feature packed bike, then Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 is what you need. Designed LED headlamp, clip-on handle bars, fully digital instrument console with blue blacklit screen, split seat and LED tail lamp gives it a stylish finish. 3. Powerful And Future-Proof Motor
Fitted with an all-new 249cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled FI engine that uses a four-valve, SOHC head, Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 produce 26.5PS of power and 22.6Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike stands tall with its direct rival – the Honda CBR250R. It is a sure shot winner when compared with Yamaha Fazer that has 25’s 20.9hp and 20Nm torque. The engine is also capable of helping the motorcycle to manage cruising speeds of 110-120kph.
4. A Sport Tourer
Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 is not an aggressive sport bike made for tracks but a sport-tourer. This can be determined by its riding position. The clip-on handlebars are set quite high which gives the rider a less aggressive position but sporty and comfortable. The pegs are set low and behind which makes it a not so comfortable ride for long distances but touring bike like accessories such as DC charging socket and saddle bags are provided. Other accessories include tank protector, tank graphics, wheel rim sticker, a seat cover, smoked visor etc.
5. Revised Chassis And Suspension
Though, Gixxer SF 250 uses the same frame as the current Gixxer 150 but Suzuki have made some considerable alterations. The steering head and suspensions mounts has been reinforced to offer more stiffness. A swingarm-type, monoshock rear suspension and 41mm telescopic front fork uses a different spring. 300 mm single disc along with a rear disc is used for braking system. The thickness of the central tube in Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 has also been increased by 0.3 mm.

Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 is priced at ₹ 1, 70,655, sitting in between with its direct competition – the Yamaha Fazer 25 (Rs 1.44 lakh), Honda CBR250R ABS (Rs 1.95 lakh). The bike has near identical performance to that of Honda CBR250R but if you compare it with Yamaha Frazer, Gixxer SF 250 is more powerful.
