Although there\u2019s not much known about Woolley\u2019s reason for exit, it is learnt that the company is already looking for his replacement.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An alumnus of Loughborough University, Steven Woolley, is a mechanical engineer by profession. He started his career with a major German automotive lighting company in the early 1990s and became a part of Mahindra Electric in September 2017. During his brief but eventful tenure at the helm of affairs, Woolley played a key role in creating and executing major strategies for India\u2019s leading electric auto manufacturer. He was the main brain behind the Mahindra Electric Scalable Modular Architecture (MEMSA) that became a success at the last Auto Expo in Delhi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prior to his engagement with Mahindra Electric, he has worked at Ricardo, a UK based company dealing in automotive, clean energy etc. Other than Ricardo, he has also worked with Webasto, Lotus Group and Intelligent Energy among others. His expertise was in areas such as operational business planning and management; programme and developmental management; CRM and solution selling, electric vehicle design among others.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During his last month at Mahindra, the company collaborated with Blu Smart (a 100% electric-vehicles powered smart mobility and smart charging platform) on World Environment Day to drive the Electric Mobility Revolution in India.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>About Mahindra Electric<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Initially known as Reva Electric Car Company, Mahindra Electric Mobility Limited is India\u2019s leading electric vehicle manufacturer. The company is based in Bengaluru and has its products exported to over 20 countries worldwide. Its mission is to bring tomorrow\u2019s transportation solutions, today. Mahindra Electric is selling EVs across many segments in India and abroad.
