This will help TVS to expand its product portfolio. The expected launch is supposed to take place in the next quarter. The new tyre will be called \u201cExtreme\u201d and will be offered under the company\u2019s Protorq performance tyre brand across the country.<\/p>\n<p>The Protorq Extreme tyres have been designed with a W rating that means that the tyre will be capable of withstanding a maximum speed of 270 kmph. These radial tyres also feature zero degree steel belt construction which will help in attaining more stability at higher speeds. The tyre is designed to achieve low rolling resistance while the rounded profile and lighter construction help in better precision and accuracy while riding. Also, the deep grooves will aid in improving grip and braking in wet conditions.<\/p>\n<p>The tyre will be available in two sizes initially. For the front tyres, Protorq Extreme XF will be available in 110\/70 ZR17 at a price range of INR 6,000 to 7,000. While for the rear tyres, Protorq Extreme SR will be offered in 150\/60 ZR17 at a price range of INR 8,000 to 9,000.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One of India\u2019s leading I was just 14 years old at the time and got to ride as a pillion with an older acquaintance. This one short ride influenced my every decision in terms of the bikes I want to own.
